QuoteReplyTopic: My secret to shiny straight hair Posted: July 06 2003 at 11:28pm
After I wash my hair in the shower at night, I put it up in a tight bun/ponytail thing. Then, I sleep on it. It naturally dries, which is good because I hate blow dryers anyways. But the roots dry straight, and in the morning I take it down, and straighten it in sections with a round curl brush thingy. Ya know it gets hot and it sounds like a blow dryer. That does good and my hair feels really smooth after that. If I want stick-straight hair, I have a Revlon clamp straightener that really does the trick. People wouldnt even guess that I have curly hair. Remember that gold irons get hotter than the silver ones do, and the hotter the better for my thick curly and frizzy hair. Try it out and tell me how it works for you. Ive been doing it since I was 14 and Im 19 now, and its the only good way I have found to straighten my hair. Good Luck!! My email is laurenb02@yahoo.com
Hi i was reading your post and wondering how in the world you manage to not comb your hair after washing it. If i dont comb it right after i will be in the bathroom in front of the mirror trying to untangle it. I just went to a salon today and i was told that the relaxer or thermal straitening would be good for me. However i am so afraid of what would happen. What if i miss my curly hair, what if it dosent look good, what if, what if, and what if. I dont know, i guess i have to think about it for a while. Money is also a issue. 400-500 dollars isnt the kind of money i want to spend on my hair but what else can i do with it. I cant style it because its thick and curly. Its an all around pain in th a**. I like Infusium but lately it hasnt been that great i guess i need to change for a while and then go back on it. Well this is my story guys, hope i can get some helpful insights regarding this relaxer/thermal straightening process. I can be contacted at Oceanu01@aol.com. Thanks
