yeah, i've been growing my hair out for 11 months, and i've decided it's time to get it cut...i can either cut it back to about 5 inches when i really liked it, and so did everybody else, or i can get it layered and keep some around this length...i was just wondering if layering curly hair really helps it lay down, i dunno, maybe i don't completely understand what they do...what're your experiences? thanks in advance.

yeah I have the same probablembut I think I'm just going to take off 1-2 inches and layer it! so then it's like I did both cut it and layer it.
