I'd like to get waves like Mischa Barton. I have 4a hair that is relaxed. The hair routine I just used is to shampoo with Nexxus Therappe, Condition with Aussie Knot Forgotten and 3 Minute Miracle, Put shea butter on my scalp and ends and put in a loose braid to dry. What should I do to get waves like her?
Type: 3c/4a Natural

Can you supply a picture of what waves you mean? I've seen Misha Barton wear many different kinds of waves and curls, and I'm not sure which one exactly you mean.

Mousse!!!!!! I asked this girl who had exact Misha Barton waves and she told me that she just uses mousse on her hair after her shower and it works perfectly!!! (But I guess you have to have curly hair in the first place, but since this is a curly hair website, I think everyone here has curly hair...LOL)

I don't have curly hair. I have naturally kinky hair but I relax it. Do you think mousse would still work if I scrunched? I will try it tomorrow.

If you put it in when your hair is still wet, it'll probably work. Good luck!

Hi - I'd use mousse or a throm spritzing spray but put hair on big rollers (but not velcro!)and dry. This will give the hair the wave structure.
Semi/Temporary curl, wave and colour creator: please try before any perm!
