i have blonde straight hair it okay but i somthimes want it curlly i dont want to perm it and useing curling irons takes for ever any products that would helpo or any ideas thanx kisses to all! megan
well things like Wash N Curl suck and will leave your hair feeling crappy. You cant really get curls by not doing anything and since you dont want to use curling iron or perm, the only other 2 options are using hot/cold rollers or just braiding your hair for light waves.
You can acutally get a lot done if you braid your hair. Just braid it when damp and make sure to have product in your hair and have the braids small/medium sized depening on the wave you want.
Those are the only things i can think of , hope it helps.

Another option would be rag curls. Basically you get strips of cloth (e.g. cut up an old cotton shirt), about 1" in width and about 4-6" long, and then section your hair into about 1" sections, tie one of the cloth strips around the section of hair, slide the knot out to near the end of the hair and then roll/curl the hair around it like you would a normal roller. When its rolled down to your head tie a second knot to secure it in place. Sleep on it (much more comfortable then any other kind of curlers) and when you take them out in the morning ... curls! And really random looking ... meaning it doesn't look like you got a perm or had your hair set on all the same size curlers. The curls will have some random shape to them. I think if you search the hairboutique site they'll have a better "how to" if this isn't clear, but this doesn't take too long - it really just depends on how large or small you make the sections (smaller sections tighter curls, larger sections of hair not as tight).
If you give this a try let me know what you think!
I'm mitch5150. I've been a haircutter/hairstylist since 1993. just to let you know how much experience I have. This is what you do to achieve curly hair without curling irons or perming your hair. get yourself a difuser for your hairdryer this is what is used in salons to dry curly hair without damaging the curls. after you wash and condition your hair with a wide tooth comb comb out your hair making it straight make sure there is mo tangles make it very smooth and get a good quality styling mouse and work this product into your damp hair then comb out your hair. Put the difuser onto your hairdryer turn your head upside down and scrunch your hair till it's dry underneath and slightly damp on the outside and scrunch your hair drying the outside of your hair and then style your hair your hair should be scrunchy curly and look great. If you don't want to turn your head upside here is another solution I do all the time for all of my clients. Style your hair straight and make sure your hair is dry. Then get a good quality firm hold or maxium hold hairspray and spray a good amount all over your hair but don't soak you hair in hairspray but get the spray all over your hair you can always add more spray if needed and scrunch you hair with the spray in your hair you'll see the wavy curl start to happen keep scrunching you hair all over until the desired curl is achieved when finished put a little spray on your finished style and let your hair air dry your style will last all day until you wash your hair. If you have any questions you can email me at customonegtr@rock.com I would be glad to help you with anything you want to do with your hair.

How are you . Yes, I know many prom updos. As a matter of fact I'm doing several prom updos this weekend. How long is your hair? There are many different updo styles but depending on the length of your hair I would like to find you a style to fit the length of your hair. Is there an email address I can use to send you some pics of prom hairstyles I've done in the past. I'm styling one of the most popular styles this weekend and I might have a pic for you. It looks great on all long hair if done properly and there are a couple of variations of the style you can do. This style looks best if you have bangs but it looks good also if your bangs are long and pulled back. Got to go talk to you soon
hey mitch i have blonde hair thats not really thick or thin its about 2 inches past my shoulders-i would like somthing curly(spirals)anyways hey i dont have a defuzzes what else could i use instead?
Heres what you do to achieve curls without a difuser.Get youself some rollers any kind but the rollers with the velcro on them are the best there easy to use and make sure the rollers are om the small and get alot of them. wash and condition your hair and dry your hair half way leaving it slightly wet on the dry side but wet. get a spray bottle because your hair will air dry and you want to keep your hair damp for the rollers. Have someone help you put the rollers in your hair. Comb all of your hair up and over your head exposing your neck. Take small sections of hair starting at the neckline and put each roller across the bottom of your head make sure the rollers are vertical across when you have a full line of rollers across the bottom the next row of rollers will be right above the row of rollers that are on the bottom you'll have about 2 or 3 rows of rollers in the back of your head. Now its time to roll the top of your hair. Section off all the hair on the top of your head. Make sure when you roll the rollers the rollers stay vertical. (Putting the rollers vertical make spiral curls if done properly.)(Make sure all rollers are roller in the same direction.) Starting at thetop of your head right above the rollers in the backtake small sections of hair and put roller across the top and only the hair on top not any of the sides thats later. The next row of rollers will go right in front of the row you just finished do this until you reach your forehead. You'll have about 3 or 4 rows on the top of your head. Now do the sides. Starting above your ear take small sections of hair for the rollers until you have a full row and put the next row on top of the row that was just finished. There should be 2 rows on each side of your head. If there is a gap between the top hair and the side hair and the rollers don't fit against your head in that gap you can overlap the rollers but make sure the rollers are touching each roller or on top of each roller. Do this on both sides of your head. Now all of your hair should be in rollers. Now take some styling spray or finishing spray make sure it is a light to medium hold and spray all the roller in your hair don't make the rollers to wet with the spray because the spray has to dry in 15minutes spray all the rollers again. using just a little more spray but don't make the rollers towet with the spray. Now it's time to let your hair dry. You can sit under a hairdryer or you can use a hairdryer to dry the rollers and make sure before you take out the rollers your hair is perfectly dry. If you take out the rollers to soon the curl will sag and come apart, So make sure your hair is perfectly dry before those rollers come out. You can do a test open one roller at the bottom more towards the middle and open the roller to see if your hair is still wet, If wet roll back the roller and let your hair dry some more until dry. When your hair is dry Take out the rollers starting at the bottom where you first started. When you take out each roller slightly stretch each curl start bottom to top then sides. When the rollers are out style your hair to the desired style To get a softer look slightly brush out each curl and style to the desired style and use a finishing spray on your hair so your style stays all day. You can also put your hair up with the curls for a prom style or leave it down. I'll email you with a picture of the prom styles I did today. one was up and one was down and curls this girl had stick straight hair. This process is great for a prom style. If you decide to do this process I would apperciate you sending me a picture of the finished style. I bet you it would look great on you. Here is my email so we can keep in touch. customonegtr@rock.com my home email. Have fun with the styling. Talk to you soon.
