Me personally, i dont like my hair lookin $hit on my way to the barbers so i usually wash my hair and put a little pink lotion and sometimes the blue s-curl gel and durag till i get to the barbers. Anything except pomade is ok before you go to the barbers though i think

first time i got a cut(which was not that low at all.....lik a 2.5 or 3)......i had juss put dax in then i washed it out n put murrays superlight (i was experimenting) n then i got a cut wit the super light n da waves i already had looked got n he aint complain cuz its mad light.....but thats juss me

that aint entirley true the pink lotion have the clippers slippin and ish

yea wen i first started usin pomade an i went 2 the barber with it in my head the barber jus looked at me grabbed my head an felt the pomade an tol me he wasnt gonna cut it but now if i put a lil wave activator or a lil pink lotion nobody notices
