My hair is extremely coarse and limp/brittle. No matter what shampoo and conditioner I use, it does not make a difference. My hair is always breaking because of lack of moisture in the hair. I am forced to braid or weave all the time. I would love to be able to wear my natural hair, but because of the dryness and brittleness, I am unable to. I have tried the best and most expensive hair shampoo and conditioners. Is anyone out there with that same hair type? If so, has anything worked for you. Please Please help.

(tired of braiding and weaving)

unfortunately, I do share the same problem as you do. my hair is very brittle and course, and breaks easy as well. Ive had good luck with `Aphogee` hair products, and `Panteen` hair products. Also try using a `Carrot` cream hair dress, which actually does help stop breakage. A good one is Hollywood beauty Carrot cream. A good `Aphogee` product is Aphogee 2 minute keratin reconstructor. Also another good tip, try using the hard wet set rollers to sleep in, instead of hot curling every day, they are a little uncomfortable in the beginning, but you`ll get use to them. They dont break your hair. like the sponge rollers do. Good Luck!!

Ladies, I had the same problem. But what helped me was using products by Dudley http://www.dudleyq.com or try Hask Placenta available at Sally`s. Remember to wash and condition your hair regularly and to moisturize daily (I use PCA by Dudley and the moisture in the hair last for days without a retouch).

Try using shea butter and wild growth hair oil also use ACV(Apple Cider Vinegar) rinses as a preshampoo. this helps to soften hair and bring it back to the right ph level.
