First thing, always remain and say positive thing about your hair no matter what state it is in. Check out the site http://www.supercurly.com
Do you deserve to have your hair straight or curly?
If straight, check out the D.Low System for pressed or relaxer hair at http://www.dlowshampoosystem.com

My daughter is Black/Hispanic and has extremely thick hair with skinny corkscrew curls that resemble a straw set, and it gets very dull, dry, wild, poufy, and hard to control especially during the summer months. Recently, I have been using Redken`s Allsoft Conditioner for Dry/Brittle Hair on her hair, plus Phytotherathrie`s Phyto9 as a leave-in conditioner for Very Dry Hair. After I wash and conditioner her hair at nite, I part it in 4 sections and plait her hair. In the morning her hair is very soft and managable and her curls have sheen. One of the best hair products I have ever tried on my hair and my daughter`s is Phytospecific Shampoo and Conditioners made specifically for curly, frizzy, and relaxed hair, but that stuff is too darn expensive-$18 to $20 for the conditioners and even the shampoo especially when it runs out quickly. If someone comes across a cheaper product that is equivalent or better than that please let me know!!
