i really dont know what they re called...but they are like braided cornrows but twisted instead of braided. what i need to know is do i need the same length of hair as braiding to do them or more or less? and what should i use to hold them together? all information is helpful and very appriceated... and links are helpful too...

when you say "hair" do you mean the hair growing from your head or weave? well, either way, i`ve gotten those done to me before, but they were done using my hair only and ive never gotten cornrows-braided style- done without weave before. but to hold them together i didnt use anything cuz my hair just stays but i guess you could use rubber bands or bobby pins.
