The only time I seen guys with curls in their head, besides it being a jheri curl, it was in spirals. Snoop Dog, Dru Down (westsiders) has been seen with these hair styles. I`m in the east and I have never seen a guy with these. But n T.V, some black guys be sportin` the spiral curls, and their hair is usually permed(Snoop Dogg).

Hi, I have curls in my hair, but it`s not a jheri curl. I first use Pro-line texturizer kit in my hair. Using a normal black comb you find at Walgreens (not thin tooth), I comb my hair back when I put Pro-line in my hair to create waves. After washing it out, my hair has defined medium sized curls (it looks like permed hair, but not like Snoop Dogg). Every morning I use Thermasilk: Thick and Curly Mousse. First, wet a washcloth to dampen your hair. Use a small handful of Thermasilk and run it through your hair. I use a blowdryer set on low to dry it quickly. Caution though, set it on cool air and a low setting, since hot air will make it look frizzy and brittle. While you`re drying your hair, hold your head down to make the curls stand up when it`s dry. Keep moving the blowdryer. Never just blowdry in one spot, move it around so that it dries evenly. It works really really nice, and I`ve had my hair like this since January of 2001.
