Yes, I now work out. My pulling my hair is bad because I don`t even know that I`m doing it. My sister and mom catch doing it. I tryed the temple balm before , may I`m not using it for a long enough time. I was told about the shampoo brush, should I look for any particular type and what is it call (Shampoo brush)? I wasn`t going to cut all my hair off just the back where it`s short, I thought maybe the hair is damged and I to start that area over. My over hair is around my neck area (halfway). Thanks for your advice I`ll try them.

I do not think you should cut all of your hair off. I do not have a picture of your hair but maybe you can get it shaped into a asymetrical bob. Long in the front but shaved in the back. Buy some hairstyle books.
Start doing nightly hair massages. This will stimulate circulation and send blood and oygen to your hair folicles. I got a shampoo brush from the beauty supply company and I do it to my head every night for 10 minutes. It works on dry hair so do not worry. This feels very good.
Buy some ORS fertilizing balm for thin areas of hair. Follow directions to the tee. Use this twice a day and massage it in the thin area. I keep mine in the frige. I love the cold feeling on my scalp.
Take vitamis. You stated it was nerves, are you exercising to get your stress level down?
I really would like some help I pulled out my hair from nerves in the back, how should i get it to grow back. I`ve tryed taking for one and half months vit. e and viviscal to help it to grow and I also apply the wild growth oil to my hair but no luck. Should I shave or cut the rest off and start over, my hair in that area isn`t that long it`s only and 1cm long and the the two patches are about 1 inch wide. I`m wearing braids on the rest of my hair to help it to grow. please help.
I have a free service online. I offer free hair care advice for African American women. I`ve been a stylist now for more than 12 years. I specialize in growing our hair really long. Past your bra strap.
I owned a salon for many years, and had a very large clientle. However God blessed me with a surpise (A baby girl) and I have closed my salon to be a dotting mother.
I have a very limited clientle now so that I can spend quality time with my daughter. However I have time to consult with sisters online about their hair care questions. So far people have been pleased with my advise.
So if you would like free advice you are welcomed to email me at phithair@aol.com
