Major hair disaster help!

I really need some info and advice ..my cousin.well her daughter used an empty conditioner bottle to put a house cleaning product in. You guessed it. My cousin grabbed the bottle after shampooing and poured it on her hair. Her once shoulder length hair is now less than two inches in places, even less in some places and broke off and dry, brittle and horrible. She has a few long strands in some places, she has now opted to cut it right down and start from the beginning. She lives in small town where there are are no black hairdressers nor people experienced to handle black hair. I told her to start taking Biotin. I got her a heat cap and want to get her some good products and a regime to follow so I would appreciate any advice you can give. I was thinking about the Organic Root Stimulator product , or Doo Grow line but I am not sure as I have never used these. What products would you suggest she use and how often? I am in a big city & can get anything to send her. Thanks

That is horrible news. How ever her hair will grow back, and I have some sugestions to ensure that it does. First of all yes, make sure she gets some Biotin, I take anout 2600mg daily. But she will need more suppluments in addition to that. She should find an multi hair supplument such as
Ultra Nourishair at GNC, or Hair Hormula 37. Also try some MSM, Evening Primerose oil, you can get that at GNC as well. The MSM will stimulate that scalp for regrowth, and help it to gow back in a much better texture. The suppluments are all going to be key because it is going to make her hair supper strong and damage resistant from the inside. Remember once you grow hair out of scalp it is dead, you can revive it or make it stronger, all you can do is manage it so it does not break. So healthy hair from within grows out stronger, and better. Make sure she is getting a protein rich diet, this will actually speed up hair growth at an alarming rate, because all hair is dead protein, the more that goes in, the more it comes out through the scalp, hence more hair growth. P.S. African textured hair requires almost twice as much protien for optimal groth as our white conterparts.
Tell her to deep condition weekly under a hood dryer for one full hour, and moisterize the hair EVERY Day. My suggestion Organic Root Stimulator`s Olive oil cream. LOVE THIS STUFF She needs to wear a no contact style ( in a bun, or ponytail) until her hair regrows.
I know it sounds like alot, but this worked my super damged short hair. Now my hair is past sholder legnth in 1 year.
