A friend of mine has long, thick, bouncy hair. I asked her how she achieved this look and she told me that she never greases her scalp. So this got me to thinking, how important is hair grease? What will happen if we don`t put grease in our hair? Besides not being as shiny couldn`t we just substitute that with oils?
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our life.

Well with me I think grease is important, i think you should also use a grease that is light and dosent weight you hair down, alot of people say dont use grease that its colgs the pores, but when i stoped using grease my hair got dry and started to itch badly and it got flakey, so i think you should not listen to what other people tell you and do what you think is best for you and your hair. I oil my scalp and ends with a light conditoner called Blue Magic,(you can also get it in green as well) Its light on the hair and scalp and you dont need much just a finger full. Also i switch from time to time and use wildgrowthoil, its a light weight oil that is good to oil the hair scalp and ends, also its good if you ever want to press your hair as well, also some times i use pink oil moistorizer(by lusters) Also doo gro is a good to oil the scalp and hair with as well.

So here are some products that are light weight on the hair and good to oil the scalp and ends with if you choose to do so..
DooGro
Luster`s Pink Oil Moistorizer
WildGrowthOil
Blue Magic-Hair and Scalp Conditoner
So here is what i think, what i said was just my opinion about grease, you do what you think is right for you and your hair, you can try not using grease for a week or so and see how it goes, then you can determine what you want to do. But i had an aunt that went from almost no hair to waist hair with in a year and i asked her what she did and she said she just started oiling her scalp with grease and oiling her ends at night, and braiding her hair up before she slept. And she went from hardly no hair to waist length hair. So I hope this helps you some with what you decide and just know we are all behind you.

Grease is very important to me. I use it after washing and blow drying my hair, but I only use it on my scalp.

To answer your question, I got good results with the doo gro,my hair grows fast anyway, but with the do gro, i use to get a 1/2 and inch amonth of hair growth, now i get 1inch of hair growth amonth,
also i switch off and on and use the wildgrowth oil, i think it works just as well i was getting the same growth results, and also it made my hair easier to comb threw and more soft and silky, and like i said with the wildgrowth oil its also good to press the hair with, and its very light, And a little goes a long way the wildgrowth oil only comes in a 4oz bottle but it lasts along time I bought a bottle last January and im still using it. But anyways I hope this helps some

PS Forgot to add a good multivitmin and drink lots of water, think positive about your hair growth, and eat healthy.
Here are some vitmins the premote hair growth:
Biotin
Flaxseedoil
Shemin
calcium
EPO
OR you can just take the Multivitmin called:Womens One A Day and that haves all the vitmins in it that you need to help with your hair growth, also massaging your scalp once a day to once a week will stimilate hair growth as well.
Once again I hope this helps

I have a question, if you lose your hair
from the roots which vitamin would help it grow back the most?
