Hey, I just wanted to know the difference between these two. Im going to use a Motions relaxer on my virgin hair and want to know which one is safer to use on my hair. Thanks for any replies.
Kiddie relaxers (no-lye) are more drying and can lead to brittle hair if you don`t continuously moisturize your hair. Lye relaxers give a silkier feel to the hair. Be sure to add some protein conditioner and/or olive oil to your relaxer.
I agree with Beautiful. Don`t assume b/c it says kiddie relaxer that it will be any gentler on the hair. Typically a child`s hair is more resistant to a relaxer, those things have to be strong to get their hair straight. You honestly would be better off with a lye relaxer.
