Sorry to hear about what happened to your hair.

First and foremost is to stop whatever chemical processing you were doing.

Second go to a good, good, good hair stylist so that she or he can access the damage. You might need to cut your hair.

You definitely need to condition your hair a lot. Try motions CPR conditioner, doing condition only washes (which means don`t use any shampoo) for about a month. Motions says doing this process will stop breakage. Check the info on www.motionshair.com.

You might want to try taking some vitamins. Ultra Nourishair by GNC is good, flax seed oil, evening primrose oil, silica, msm, and biotin are also good. These vitamins are now a part of my daily regimin along with a multivitamin, and I have noticed improved condition in my hair. I also use wild growth hair oil in my hair, that stuff is great, but I`m warning it smells bad.

Also, STAY AWAY FROM HEAT on your hair. You need to give your hair rest from chemicals and heat, which can cause severe damage to already fragile hair.

When your hair is strong enough and long enough, try getting twist extentions, they are less stressfull to the hair than braid extentions and provide the same effect, which is rest for your hair. This is what you need to do most.

Good luck. Take good care of your hair, it is very fragile and precious.
True beauty is only found within.

I`m sorry to hear about that too!! About 6 months after I had my son, my hair starting falling out in different places but around the face...BADLY!!!!!!....it had gotten to the point where I could run my hands through my hair and I`d have fingers full of hair...not really clumps....but too much for me to stand! Finally, I called Dudley`s Beauty College in the city where I work, and made an appointment for this protein treatment! It worked instantly!...NO MORE HAIRLOSS!!!...That protein treatment works so well that they don`t even sell it!..And Dudley`s sells like 99% of their products....I would suggest looking into to that if you`re near a Dudley`s Beauty College...or if not...try some protein treatments!! Stay in good spirits...Good Luck!
