Growing out a childs perm

My 5 year old daughter has been having her hair relaxed since she was 3 it started with kiddie perms then moved up to Motions which has the Hyrodrenized(?) But know her hair is starting to break at the roots on the sides. Her hair is down her back and she has had regular end trimmings but it is not as thick as it used to be or as healthy. She typically got her perms ever 6 - 8 Weeks. What can I do to grow out her perm with out cutting her hair?
