Hey everyone! In my last post of liquid relaxer, Product Junkie7 said it would be a good thing if I found out about silkening and texturizing. I'm taking her advice and I would like to know everything about it. I've never really heard silkening or texturizing your hair, so the more info the better. Thanks a lot!

Hello, Goldie!
Thanx for the shout-out. I heard about silkening through Sophisticates Black Hair magazine. There was an article about these 2 Black-Japanese sisters who have perfected this process for sisters who want to wear their hair naturally curly, but don't have that "really good stuff" ( my own interpretation). The have a salon in NY called Curve Salon. The website has lotsa great before-after pictures that will give you hope! Since I live in the Southeast USA, I can't get to them, so I plan to take some web printouts to my stylist to see what she can figure out. Since she is always clueless about my curly quest, I don't expect much. I plan to keep searching till I find the right person to do this.
Website is "www.curve-salon.com".
