Will trimming the ends of your hair help it to grow? Some websites say yes and some say that trimming your hair is a myth. I don't know what to believe. Can anyone help me?

You should trim your hair every 10 weeks (2 and 1/2 months) if you want your hair to grow long and healthy. Trim your hair about 1/2 an inch to get rid of the split ends. I highly recommend trimming your hair yourself or asking someone you really trust. Eveytime I went to the salon and asked for a trim, they would trim off like 2-3 inches of my hair, so it always stayed the same length. Ever since I started trimming my hair myself, it went from shoulder length to bra strap length. Its growing really longand really healthy. Hope this helps!
