I have thick, curly hair that is difficult to style and maintain..however..I can somehow get through with it.
I want to spike it. I refuse to put in relaxer - although I do have Curl-Away from Xenna..I have seen others with spiked hair, so I would love to attemp to get it. I've tried styling gel, but it's failed miserably...as I expected.
However, when I blow it out..it may, perhaps, be possible. Is there anyone I can go to or anything to use that will give me spikes that will look half decent?
Did you try looking in a health food store. They may have something like that. Do you use conditioner after you shampoo? Try that out it keeps moisture in hair.

Well, I've looked in the local Health food stores before for hair products, but I didn't see that oil.

Well, thanks, heh..I have a very diverse background..I think that most people do, it just may be unknown to them.
But I'm still trying..I'll try blow-drying it and putting on the instant-hardening gel..Thanks :).
I bought a flat iron, but it's relatively weak, and it only straightened a few strands..
