you should just do a jet black semi permanant color ...thats what i do for now. i colored my hair jet black and i thought i could dye it red. the roots turned red and the rest was black- it was really ugly. i tried dying everything black but only using a semi permanant because color is usually hard to erase...hence "permanant". that should be a temporary fix to your problem unless you want to color it again. if i want streaks i always use temporary color because i change my mind about hair color every 2 weeks.
