hi, I just recently bought 3 bags of yaki straight hair.. I love hair extensions in the form of braids, but I wanted to try the sewn option..(because of the hassle of taking the braids out later)...

My sister had her hair done like this but it came out real bulky.. do you guys think i bought the right type of hair? Or do you feel that this was her hairdresser's fault? I dont want it bulky and I want it to look good when I wear it up.. Any Suggestions?

Thanks in advance

The "bags" of yaki straight hair you bought - what type exactly? Is it synthetic or human hair? I've read that human hair lasts longer and is easier to take care of.

Is it on a weft, or is it bulk? If you want sew-in weaving, you need to start with hair that's on a weft.

Who's going to do this? If you're going to go to a professional, maybe you should have a little consult with them first. Have a picture of what you want it to look like, but also bring a picture of your sister's hair, so they can see what you don't want.

I think what you want for the effect you're talking about is European silky hair (human type) or silky straight (toyokalen is the best synthetic - you want kanekalon at least, don't buy anything that is not labeled as to fiber content).

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Thank you both for your responses, it has really helped me :-)

its 100% human hair

yep, its on a weft & is 18 inches long

Who's going to do this? If you're going to go to a professional, maybe you should have a little consult with them first.
