I went on-line and viewed the product. The only concern I have is that it can be used on all types of hair. I always thought that African Americans were not suppose to use the same products as other races due to the acid and acohol levels?

Since the picture they have on the main page is of a lady with typically AA hair, I'd say yes. Someone on this board has used it and says that it works very well in her hair.

But for specific inquiries, you should proably ask them directly...

Hi Kally,
Its me, I'm the one who raves about this stuff- the Bodiphier. I have 3b hair maybe 3c. I also use it on my sister's hair she's 4a and uses no heat her hair. We love it. But, it does not make your hair bone straight, just more straight then it would be if left untreated.
I still like the effect because I can wear my hair air dried and curly. or blow dry for a really smooth straight silky look.
The best part is that if you do not like it, you can go back to other relaxers! But I never will as long as they continue making this product!
What would you do if you knew you
could not fail?

Sixkiller, do you or your sister have any pictures to show of before and after of the Bodiphier? I would love to see them. Also, I'm about 7 weeks post relaxer and I have alot of new growth. Do you use it just on the new growth??

I regret I do not have any pictures to show. I blow dry my hair usually once during the week and air dry on the weekend. Either way my haie is smoother when blown dry and curls more defined when air dried.

I tried this too...
I wasn't moved either way. It's good but I rather get Soft 'n BEautiful in the store down the street without the shipping & handling charges...
Ashee Out!
