Hair Care & Pregnancy

Hi,

I am writing to ask for suggestions on hair care and/or attractive head coverings while pregnant.

I would feel more comfortable not taking chances with chemicals in or on my body.

I've used COPA in the past, but just called their CS line and the product is not recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding.

I was too hot when I've had braids in the past. I don't mind them in winter, but I think I would be miserable by Summertime. (Baby due in July).

I'm not opposed to wearing pretty scarfs everyday, but the supply seems limited to colors wrong for my skin tone.

Any helpful suggestions welcome.
