Recommended NYC TR Stylists?

Hiyah! =^,^= I have long hair, but it's dastardly thick and curly. The repeated straightening I'm giving it with a ceramic iron is causing more and more damage each week. Rather than perpetuate this, I'm looking to splurge on thermal reconditioning treatment.

My issue is that I've heard a lot of accounts of people who get the TR done, only to complain of the damage that is done afterwards as a result of it. Since one of the principal reasons why I'm looking into TR is to prevent subsequent damage, I'm very concerned with picking an adept TR stylist.

I live in NJ, so travelling to NYC to get the job done right is no big issue. Does anyone know of a good TR stylist in the NYC area whom they could recommend by experience or reputation? Thanks!
