I have thick, wavy, course hair and use a straight iron on it everyday, but it is summer now and I am going on like all these trips and don't have time for a straight iron. I leave in a week and was wondering if there were any "affordable" shampoo's and conditioners, chemical straightning, gels, or n e thing that would help my hair become straighter or thinner or smoother looking! I am also thinking of getting my hair thinned this week with the scissor "things" lol so what do you think about that? My hair is about 2 or 3 inches longer than my shoulders with a tiny bit of layer at the bottom. Thanks
i swear u sound just lik me and everytime i try to straightin my hair it seems to look lik to much hair i want tinner nice straight smooth hair but yaa....and i dont wnat my hair damdged and im startin higth school in 2 weeks and i want new great hair taht wont fade any color
You could get a leave-in conditioner spray. Alberto makes one, so do John Frieda, Clairol (Herbal Essence), or Thermasilk's leave in.
Just look for spray bottles near the line's conditioners. Many of them promise to protect against heat damage.
Matrix makes "Sleek Look Iron Smoother" that protects up to 450 degrees to use with irons.
When you are on vacation, these can protect your colored hair from fading. I've heard of people putting leftover sunblock into highlights. What a waste, sunblock is expensive compared to these sprays.
