Hopefully with more and more springing up, the prices will fall. There's no reason for these things to be so expensive. And I vow if I find the source, I will post it here.

International Wigs wrote me back all appalled at how I suggested they lifted Doc Locks shrinkie photo.
They proceeded to tell me they were using a "stock photo" from the company that sells shrinkies and that the photo is given to them for all shrinkie retailers to use.
When I replied and asked if they could show me the site where they received their photo, they told me it was none of my business and I have "no use" for that information.
How ya like them apples, hmm?
I'm chuckling.

gee AMM whats your beef with international wig? why dont you prove they send that and post the email. why are you making such a big deal about that? seems pretty silly!

Amber, the problem is that some people go out there, do the innovating, find/try new things, take the chance (like Doctored Locks), and others just copy, plagerize, and take credit for work they didn't do. That's the problem.

i find it interesting though this AMM person is talking all the sh&t about iwig and there is no proof of any copied pic or anything. i found this board today, and have been reading thru it all day. wonderful tips, sooo glad i found it. i have bought from dr. loc, iwig, and a number of other sites. the only place i ever had an issue with was bestwig and i still await a refund. anyhow i have been buying falls for years at international wig, i am on the customer page, and i dont think this AMM chic should say things like that, you can go to the site and see they obvioulsy dont copy pics, have you seen the models?? so she says they stole a shrinkie pic and can call them loosers? she seems jealous or something. i dont see a reason for it. as a customer of theirs for over 3 yrs, i felt a need to say something. seems quite unfair to me!

I don't think anyone meant to criticise the product quality or customer
service of iwig. I know I didn't eventhough I'd never heard of
them before today.
The explanation offered by iwigs is reasonable. However, there
are plenty of people in general on the internet ripping off each others
content.
Either way Doc has been offering shrinkies much longer than anyone else
I know of. It's not entirely unreasonable to *think*(not know)
that the first person/company to introduce a product is at risk of
being plagiarised.

i found out about shrinkies last month. i see them all over, on lots of UK sites. if dr locs invented them? did they? i dont know- but every product invented, is going to be copied. i am sure we can all think of thousands of items like that! but to call a company loosers, and act like AMM is, is childish, and absurd, if you ask me. anyone can sell any item they can buy at wholesale, they should have a right to, and not be called loosers and such, especially when we dont know their response. i thought this was a board for info on extensions, nto to put down companies that we buy from, and have one sided stories of supposed emails and replies. know what i mean? anyhow i posted in another forum, maybe someone here can tell me, if i need to have these done at a salon, or can a friend do them for me...? is there alot involved? thanks

well that is nice you have something to do between visits to your psychiatrist. but just because a fish is retarded, is no reason to shoot it. they have rights too!
so, that person is actually using the website to host their pic! now for sure, that is wrong...even if the pic is not taken by the loc people. so who wants to talk bad about that ebay seller? lets send them fish in a barrel!
