I realize now that no matter how much I try to get my daughter's flat iron to work on my hair, it just won't.  I finally invested in good shampoo and conditioner but I am still left with frizz and curl, another words not getting results like when I have my hair flat ironed at the salon.  My hair is much, much curlier that my daughters and I need a new flat iron.  My problem is I need one by tomorrow because I am leaving on a trip.

I see a couple that might be nice that I could order on-line and if I pay nearly $20 extra in shipping I could have by tomorrow.  For instance, the Solia Professional Ceramic Flat Iron featured at folica.com

I have tried many web searches to try to find this product at a store in my area and am unable to do so.

Soooo, if someone would suggested a comparable item that may be purchased at Sally Beauty, Target, Walmart, Sears, etc. I would appreciate it.  I had always thought that one day I might buy a CHI (sp?) but I was holding out due to cost.  I had only seen them close to $200.  The Solia is on sale at folica for $88.

The Sally web site lists such items as "Beyond the Zone, Curlmaster, Helen of Troy, Ion Anti-Frizz, Jilbere.  Will any of these be decent?

Thank you in advance.

sorry I'm late...I've heard people raving about the Solia, Sedu, Chi, and Hai...seems to be great irons, but I have a Corioliss http://www.corioliss.com and it's amazing.
