QuoteReplyTopic: question about hair colour remover Posted: April 04 2005 at 6:06pm
I don't like doing roots so i normally bleach out the hair dye every 3 weeks or so and colour everything uniformly again. Is colourfix a better method of getting rid of old hair dye because hair dye is resistant to bleaching?
also, where is a good place to buy bleach and colourfix in large quantities in vancouver , canada. thanks.

If you continue bleaching out color every 3 weeks, you're eventually
gonna "melt" your hair off. Everytime you bleach you are adding more
and more damage. Colorfix would be a better method, but you are still
going to considerably damage your hair by dyeing over the ends again
and again. There is a product called Roots Only that you can order
online; it is a special applicator just for doing your roots.
Ok, thanks:) i keep my hair at .75 of an inch. it's thick hair. if you have long hair, i would think that each time yo do the roots the colour would be slightly different so you would end up with a striped effect.
