Over the last month I've seen two women (one with shoulder length hair and one with hair maybe BSL) who had cute twisty pony tails.  The look starts with a secured high (center of back of head, but I think it would also work from the nape) pony tail which is divided in two sections.  The two sections are twisted together and secured again at the ends.  It looks kind of like a "cream horn" you might find in the bakery.  It is a no-fuss casual alternative to the pony tail or traditional braid.

I've not seen this hairstyle before, but it is so simple that it makes me think, *I should have thought of that*.

But if you say it looks like 2 sections, do you mean that the 2 were just twisted towards each other so it makes like 2 twisted tubes?  Sorry, I don't know what a "cream horn" looks like!
