Gotta add my 2 cents here as a former GL'er (an in-debt GL'er that is). . .

I wore GL for nearly 4 years and personally I thought the quality of the hair was declining as the price went up.  I had a *lot* of occasions where I thought, "WHAT? I thought this was supposed to be 'the best' out there.  ."

So maybe you *did* get a bad batch even though that's "not supposed to happen".

Thanks everyone.  I have had them just 3 weeks I think.  Going on 4.  And yes I paid way too much to have this happen.

I do not like or use the GL products and have found that my hair does much better when I don't.

My extension person didn't razor at all but did trim the ends.  I think I need layers put in because I don't think it looks good around my face anyway.  I will give him a call and see what he says.

The last 2 rounds did tangle some but not like these tiny little knots.  I never sleep on it loose, use satin pillowcases, don't wash everyday, use a detangling spray that has worked previously to avoid knots so I hope razoring will help.

Thats awful. You spent quite a bit of money on these  extensions I'd guess. So I would get ahold of the person who did them and have her try to fix it somehow.Maybe razor the ends a bit like mochachip said.As much as you paid your extensionist should fix sans gratis. Its the least she could do for giving you tangly hair. how long have you had it in now?

Talk to your extensionist.  How much were the extensions razored after you had them installed?  I find a little razoring goes a long way for minimizing this.  Though ideally with what you have paid for great lengths you shouldn't have any trouble at all.

When I had my GLs, the hair was good quality (mostly because it seemed quite durable and thick), but it wasn't tangle-free by any means. I conditioned the hell out of it and used silicone shine products, which helped. I never used the GLs products. :)

Perhaps its just an unfortunate bad batch of hair.  Have you contacted your extensionist.  They should do something about it really x

My expensive GL hair is knotting on the ends.  In these teeny tiny little knots that are impossible to get out unless I seperate them strand by strand literally.

Any suggestions or thoughts?  This is the first time this has happened for me.
