Hi everyone.  I'm wondering, how long until the paint starts chipping off of extentubes.  I have some form of micro links in my hair now (don't know what kind, a stylist put them in) and they've been in for 2 weeks and the paint is coming off.  eveyone here seems to prefer extendtubes so I thought maybe they'd be better.

hey i had mine in for about 6-7 weeks and when i took them out there was some chipping...i think its mainly due to how much you wash your hair and wht not...i dont remember really seeing it till about 3-4-5 weeks in as i couldnt really see the back of my head... :-)

Maybe you have squeezed them wrong?

I use MIcrorings for over 3 years now, and when paint comes off, it was because I had the wrong plier...

Doc Locks' rings have a reputation for chipping prematurely. I would recommend trying the extendtubes from hairpiece.com or haircandy.net

:)
