First of all I'd like to introduce myself, my names Razor.... (Handy website BTW!)

Let me describe my hair: DRY, VERY THIN, DOESN'T DO WHAT ITS TOLD & USELESS

I wash my hair once a day with shampoo (cheap stuff from tesco) I have no control over my hair, I've tried to style it using all different products such as gel, hairspray, wax, creams etc....

Is there any tips anyone can give me to help style my hair better? Any recommendations on good quality hair products?

Any help would be most appreiated!!!

Aside from the fact that you hate your hair and can't force it to do what you desperately want it to do, what is it like? Is it straight, wavy, curly? Coarse or fine?

From what you have written, you seem to be saying that you wash with the cheapest shampoo you can, use no conditioner, and it's dry and unmanageable. Then you load it up with all the styling products you can get, and still can't make it do...well, you haven't told us that part either.

USE A CONDITIONER EVERY TIME!!!

Let us know how your hair responds to this.

From what you had written I guessed that you had wavy or curly hair and wanted straight. I have fine straight hair, and it would certainly be dry at the ends if I didn't take treat it properly.

Right now I'm using Suave Humectant mixed with 1 tablespoon jojoba and 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil (you can substitute sweet almond oil or use all jojoba) per bottle. Then I finish with a silicone conditioner like Pantene Pro-V, which makes it easy to comb out and shiny.

hmm you need to get some volumizing products. use serum and mousse instead of gels and wax to get more body.

Stop working against your hair and start working with it.
