When I put my wave cap/du rag on I have some hairs comin loose through the top, does that mean I'm not using enough pomade or does it just mean my hair is gettin long...Any suggestions

P.S. How long should I wait until I get a cut...I started 2 weeks ago and my hair was like a #1 in clipper terms, should I wait some more or get it cut?

That's going to happen. The du-rag has holes in it to let your hair breathe. Also, the pomade isn't going to cover every strand of hair on your head, so don't worry about it.

P.S. Wait about another two more weeks. This'll give your wave pattern more time to develop. keep using whatever method u use and brush,brush,brush!

thanks. im tryin to step my brush game up to catch up to yall vets

but ay, like most newbs im havin trouble with my sides. its not that im not brushin them, im just not sure if im brushin it right. so can u explain better like i read just brush at an angle well theres how many different angles?? lol...right now im brushin down towards the back of the ear (starting from the top) but when i brush my top/front down it hits the part that i just brushed on the side...any ideas?
