i think that when u first start out u should use a hard brush then when you get ur pattern established then you should switch to the soft brush.....i stay usin mah soft brush it helps define and straitin mah waves out

you should start out wit a soft brush and when your hair gets longer then a hard brush

I SAY THEY BOTH ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT, IN MY NEW METHOD I USE A COMBINATION OF THEM BOTH.

i say hard brush cauz it speeds up yo wave process even though it may hurt in the beggining ull get use to it
