Hello all, I am new here (just joined) and needed some help on this topic for sometime. I have been thinking about switching shampoo, for I'm currently using Garnier (2-1 anti-dandruff shampoo +conditioner). Is there a shampoo that gives a hair the kind of dried texture of but healthy look? Nothing that makes it bouncy but just lays flat. Or does it depend on one's hair? Probably it isn't a shampoo, or is it a product/treatment?

I am aiming for this kind of texture (not cut):

Where it should be possible since his hair used to be like this:

(waaay more dryer)

Any help would be appreciated
Thankyou!

I think they make hair products to purposely make freshly-washed hair look dirty.  Dirty hair looks flatter and more clumping together-like than fresh hair, which seems to be what you're looking for.  Unfortunately, I have no idea what those products are called-- my hair looks awful when unwashed, so I've never tried them.  *wonders if anyone else knows*

More awesome than a manatee!

Heh, my hair looks the best when it's not been washed for two or three days. It lays flatter, the poofyness and frizz goes away...

But the worse part is, it smells bad, and is dirty!
