Bad Carrot Cream

Okay i've been using the carrot creme method for 3 weeks, and my hair is getting thick, but when i use the carrot creme my hair just sticks up like a totem pole.

So i was mad one day and just used some of Dudley's Easy Waving and Curling Pomade and it stayed down for the first time in day's.

My question is since my hair seems to need a Pomade which pomade is better for thick hair cause i don't feel like buying all the store and only need one product.

I'm cuttin my hair tommorow cause my sides are wrong and hopefully by next month be able to change the pattern. so i'm gettin:

Doo gro

(Pomade for thick Hair)

P.S, What does let's Jam do, is it a Gel or a Pomade????

maybe you got a bad batch, cause my hair stays moisturized all day, it never feels dry, and i never have to put more in my hair later

oh ok, yeah you might need something that has a stronger hold. 

maybe like when your done with your brushing or before your about to go out you can use some lets jam, or a spritz spray and then du-rag it.

years ago when i was in H.S. i would use a spritz in my hair when my hair would get really long, that stuff holds even better than pomade. but with spritz, stay away from the ones with alcohol, it'll dry your hair out.

lets jam is good too, the orange top might be what you need. but just like pomade, in the hot sun it can lose some of its hold and your hair can curl up.

also don't slack on the brushing cause the more you brush the easier your hair will lay down, and stay down and you wont have to rely on those strong holding products as much.

if ur hair is still stickin up after u du rag, maybe u should get a spray bottle, and spray ur hair down wit water, put on the du rag, spray it wit water, and wait till it dries overnight. it should stay down the next day. or u can wash ur hair in the shower, pat ur hair (not dry), add moisturizer, add pomade wit strong hold, THEN put on ur du rag. i think these will help u lay that hair down. also, dont brush wit a hard brush after uve du ragged. use soft brush, and ONLY for touch ups. hard brushes mess up wut uve worked so hard to lay down.

i got real stubborn hair too and my junk didn't start stayin down til i sprayed my durag with water before i went to bed and touched it up with a soft brush in the morning
