I've been looking for a very good basic shampoo and conditioner that contained NO silicone ingredients. VO5 doesn't have any so I think I'll buy them. I love that they only cost a dollar each. Also the ingredients contain aloe, chamomile, vitamins etc. Is VO5 any good and will it make my hair feel smooth after showering? I'm thinking of picking up the Freesia.

I don't use the shampoo, but I love V05 conditioner! It's very inexpensive and always leaves my hair smooth and soft. (And freesia smells great! )

It's suprising that each only cost a buck. I tried it a year ago and loved it but wanted to explore. I hate Garnier and Herbal Essences now because they left silicone and wax in my hair. I kept getting flakes. I think I'll stay with VO5.

I really like VO5 products.
The Leave In Detangle and Shine is good and so is the shampoo.

I do believe Tressemme is made by the same co. (Alberto Culver) and I like their S&C also.

You can order VO5 from

CVS.com
Walgreens.com
Drugstore.com
Familymeds.com
and there's some on Amazon.com too

I have used some of the VO5 shampoos and I liked these

Lavender
Kiwi Lime

and didn't like
Normal

I also have several VO5 conditioners and I like them.

I didn't like the Freesia conditioner but I only used it one time so I might try it again. It could have been the weather or something else that made me not like it.

Another vote for Kiwi Lime, I use the conditioner as my "shampoo" for the CO method.  Works great!  And the price is an added bonus.

I'm staying away from the new products because they are full of other ingredients that I don't think I want. I think I'm going to get the Freesia shampoo and Kiwi conditioner. It's the kiwi really that good? Sounds yummy.

I love using Kiwi Lime.

However keep in mind,

Some people have had problems with KLS bothering their scalp. For my first 2 washes I had some itching but I've washed with it lots of times since and had no problems.

Don't give up on the whole VO5 line if one or two bothers you. Many people have VO5 they love and VO5 they hate. You just have to find the ones you like.

Oh and I forgot to mention this but the VO5s that says Oasis on it are silicone ones.
