Oh great...its back. Seriously this coming from a girl that likes guys with a shaggy type hair...his hair is not that spectacular. And that hair looks likes it would take longer to do then it takes me to get all the way ready for school in the morning. And who is he anyways?
Haha everyone wants this hair! It is very cool but personally i prefer the slightly shorter style he had...
Anyway what you need to do is straighten all over from roots to ends and make sure you do it slowly so it works better. Your hair has to be bone dry to do this. Also use heat protectant cream as it helps protect your hair and makes it straighter. You then need to curl the hair slightly through the straighteners to make it flip out. It should stay in place. Then apply some soft wax all over to give that wet textured effect. Finally, apply hairspray to give extra hold and shine. I had this hair for ages and now I have cut it, and I can tell you now that it is very high maintanance. Good luck.
And to answer the above question, he is the lead singer/guitarist in a band called Fightstar, although he used to be in Busted.
Thanks for the reply, just wondering though, won't wax make the hair curl again and make the straightening pointless? What wax did you use? do you think "fructis surf hair" would be good?

I have tried fructis surf hair and its not good for this style because its not a soft wax, its more of a paste. if you use a soft wax, the hair shouldn't curl. fructis polishing wax is good but i used 'physique precision wax' which i found on ebay which was very good. any wax should do the job, just make sure its soft - these waxes are easy to manage and they give some of the shine your looking for. also i found that putting the wax in your hair BEFORE straightening and then putting more in afterwards worked great. just make sure you dont use too much because you dont want it looking greasy.
its not recommended to put in wax _before_ straightening.. just a warning..
Unless you have really curly hair i doubt it will curl after you put wax inn. My hair doesnt curl no mather how much stuff i put inn my hair after straightening :)
thats the style im getting :) charlie simpsons hair is great!
