if your hair was trained and you had a decent pattern then 2 days of
not brushing would not cause your waves to disappear. waves don't
disappear that quick and that easy.
and as far as starting over, i guess your gonna have to.

just brush and du rag like u were doing. if u wash ur hair, itll prolly help get ur hair back in position and the state it was b4 u forgot to brush or w/e. after 2 days, ur waves arent gone. u prolly jes cant see em. if ur wave pattern was already established, it takes more than that to get them to dissappear.

I heard of a person who shaved their head bald and when their hair grew back they had a slight wave pattern. That's proof waves are hard to get rid of.

Yeah because i've gone 2, 3 and 4 days without lettin a brush really touch my head and as soon as i got back on the grind my waves showed up nice. Don't start over because that's too much work and backtrackin. And i would just say KEEP BRUSHING and don't slack off until you can really afford to.

i had waves before and then went to braids for a year or so. had to cut the fro atg and when my hair grew back i had waves right away. i mean no brushin while my hair was growin. so ur pattern cant go away like that. just stay on the gring and they'll show up.
brushin wit a hard brush wont make u lose ur waves, but itll jes detangle ur hair and make it poofy lookin. ur waves will still be there. u can even comb ur waves.

combing ur hair will detangle it. we all know that after du ragging night after night, our hair will eventually become tangled. thats when u can comb it. or when ur puttin in lets say carrot cream or sum moisturizer, if u comb ur hair, itll make it more maneagable to comb, then put in the product then brush and also allows easier access for the product to reach ur scalp.
