yo alotta ppl i kno will gro they hair and then get it braided, they say they get it braided because they hair nappy and after they get it cut they hair be straight. then when waves come around they be killin ya old waves alot. wat im tryin to say is dat braids make ur hair straight after its cut and give u way better waves, its jus wat ive seen so im passing it on. wat yall think bout this

Braids don't make your hair straight, I know this cause I had braids for a couple of years. It don't make your hair straight at all homie.

i dont know i had braids but i was a young kid when i had braids but the people i know that had braids and cut off yeah they waves be looking sick but i dont know if it make ur hair straight it makes it type curly or nappy

Your hair the day you cut might seem straighter but once you wash it the naps come back(if you had naps...lol)

True, the naps is not going anywhere. You will have to comb them out or brush them out all the time, and even then they still come back.

yeah it is some what easy 2 get waves if you have had braids in the recent years and just cut them off

yea you were really wrong on that one when you get braids and unbraid you can sometimes see the waves on your long hair
