QuoteReplyTopic: More Thin?? Posted: September 23 2005 at 9:30am
I don't know if thinning my hair is really what I'm looking for. But
here goes. I have red semi curly hair that i keep relatively well cut
but nothing really short or really long. I shower every day before
school and use whatever shampoo and conditioner is in the shower. After
I get out of the shower, i just get dressed and leave my hair the way
it is. I dont brush my hair. I
like my hair after I get out of the shower because it hangs lower than
when it dries. When it dries, it just turns into a poof on the top of
my head... I wish i could somehow make it a little less thick and more
freeflowing. Like if i shake my head fast, the hair doesnt move at all..
Any ideas without having to use gel (ugh) and preferably not requiring any different product use? Thanks

Well, I actually don't want the hair held in place. I want to be able
to shake my head and actually have the hair move freely. RIght now, I
don't know if its just too thick or too not straight or whatever...
Im just looking for a simple way to start it. I assume, growing it out
would be the first step... When I used to grow it out, I would take a
shower and it looked fine; it hung down nice and evenly everywhere; but
then, as it dried, it suddenly just turned into a poof at the top of my
head.
So what I'm looking for is a way to let the hair hang down to the sides, not stick up and poof with itself all above my head.
ANy ideaS? Thanks :)
PS: I really would prefer NOT to use gel or anything required to put on
after a shower (although I cant see how gel would help it be more free
moving anyways...)
