I didn't read anything before what I quoted...

I have used this one and it works pretty well, but I know how guys are...you'd hate to use a product with a woman on it. Anyway after a week, your hair isn't left with an ultra straight look. It sorta goes back to normal.

I have also used this one. NO, don't even think about it. My hair was slick after a week. I had to just grow it out and slowly cut off the straight hair.

The one good thing about texturizers is that if you use it right for about 2-3 weeks your hair will start to grow faster. (idk, maybe it's just me.) Also if you are going to use one for guys use it for about 5-10 minutes less than what is recommended so your hair will almost go back to natural in 2 weeks.

As far as using them to get waves, I wouldn't do it. I couldn't stand the heat on 2 inches of hair so I doubt you'd be able to stand it on 1/8 inch.

Hope this helps.

ummm, no pomade on both dem pictures. Thing is.. after awhile i think ur ish will look kind of fried like chicken. Also, you will not know if you f-uped yo scalp till u get a haircut pretty low.

Also, it doesnt matter if it says "no lye" its still a kit hehe... and how good is ur hair?

nope... umm thing is with da kits. I know the scurl blue kit will not get you straight hair @ all unless you have good hair. You may want to try dat one to soften ur hair up. If you have nappy hair and want ur hair like dat up der u wud use da "Red" kit for alil under da time they recommend or ur gonna f-up badly. If you wanna loosen ur curl and ur hair is nappy i wud use da red kit for atleast 5-6 minute no more!

why did you buy something before asking about it?

Anyways texturizers and perms are the same, the lye part dont make it more or less of a perm. The timing is shorter for texturixers. They loosen your curl but so do perms, its not the chemical that makes the hair straight is the heat used afterwards.

After 1-2 weeks it will go back to how it is now or it will be straight. Then you'll have to wait about 2 months before you can put another one in.
