Well I'm the other side now.  I have BSL fine hair in pretty good condition (although I'm chopping it this week due for a change).  I bought one of the T3 dryers in hopes of making my hair look great when it's dried.  My other dryer is the conair ion.

All in all I didn't see a difference.  In fact my hair was frizzier and stringier when I used the tourmaline dryer and I fixed it the same way with both dryers.  The only thing I can say is that is has a long cord so I don't have to stretch as far and is quiet.

They are amazing. I bought a Hai ceramic tourmaline ionic dryer. The regular price is $129, but I got it on ebay for $79. OMG! what a difference. Not only was my hair super soft, shiny, straight and frizz free, but it only took half the time. After I dry it, I run my beloved Sedu flat iron through my hair to lock in the shape, and my hair stays beautifull and super straight until my next wash. Belive me, once you've tried one of these things, you will never look at dryers the same way. I know I will never own a cheap dryer again.

They are AMAZING... I think my hair is healthier now than it was a week ago because I let my hair air dry and it didn't poof any. Anyway, I got HairArts T3 Ionic dryer. I use it and my hair becomes very straight, smooth, and shiny! Most of the frizz is gone and if its not I use my Sedu flat iron to fix that. It's definately worth it because I think it makes your hair healthier.

I've read a recent article on the "new" Tourmaline Hair dryers. Expensive little suckers though, anywhere from $100-200. They boast everything you could ever want in a hair dryer. I've seen them on www.hairartandinfo.com and www.sephora.com

Are they too good to be true?
