I'm new to the board and have never heard of MTG. What is it? How does it work? I recently had a baby and during the pregnancy my hair begain to fall out I have very thick coarse hair I trying to get it be healthy again as well as find some way of straightening that looks like chemicals without using a relaxer.

First off ke-ke, Welcome to the board  ... There is tons of info on MTG here! If you do a " search" for MTG it'll provide you all the posts regarding it. Briefly though, it's a sulfur solution used topically for hair growth. It's currently marketed for horses,( yeah horses ) but originally was for human use. You can also go to Shapleys.com  for the history.

I agree do a "search" on all your issues youshould be able to find all the information. It's easier to start with a topic search. There are sooo many threads

I found Mane & Tail in my local supermarket tonight.    It's advertised as the Original.  At any rate, I bought a bottle even though the instructions are for human use and for horses. 

Has anyone used this product with success and have long hair to show for it?
