My hairdressing instructor once told us that Pert Plus is so strong that if left on the hair long enough, it could actually perm it! Since then I've been deathly afraid of using any anti-dandruff shampoos. But now I've been looking into it and am thinking of using it. I want to get extensions soon and I don't want to have any scalp issues then! So I've been looking into shampoos. If I find something that works, I'll let you know!
Someone was saying that adding tea tree oil to shampoo also helps.

sulfur 8 or anything with sulfur or tar will definitely help. I know they are stinky but they're effective!

it also helps to make sure you shampoo at least once a week. This will keep the dandruff under control.
