I hope I am putting this in the right section. I was wondering if any of you have pictures of celebs with different side bang do's? I plan on getting my hair cut and colored next week and I really want to do something different with my hair and I figured that since the side bang is the new trend then maybe I should get it too! So if anyone has any pics of celebs with the side bang that would be great! i wanna find the perfect side bang do!

Between you and me, I find the idea of cutting your hair just so your bangs are long enough to part them to one side or the other a really stupid move. Any woman I've seen do this -- celebrity or otherwise -- is constantly moving her hair out of her eyes or blinking so much her eyes water. What a waste of energy for a look that's not so great anyway.
Jennifer Aniston was pretty much the poster girl for this look during her last year on Friends.
I know it's pretty impossible to go wrong with your hair if you're Jennifer Aniston, but note that the third photo I posted shows Jennifer with fingers on hair moving the annoying hair out of her eyes.
Another example is Carol Costello from CNN. She may be growing her hair out to one length and is in the middle of that process. I thought she looked fantastic with bangs and longer hair:
Hmm... well I am actually not a fan of regular bangs. I had them my whole life up until I was about 13. I couldn't stand them. I think they are so ugly. I actually just want a long side bang because I have a large forehead and fuller face. Thak you so much for posting the images for me and telling me what you thought I should get.... But don't worry I don't want the kind that Jennifer Aniston had in the pics, even though I think it looks great on her! It just wouldn't go good on me.
Here is a pic of me now with my hair (i know yucky), I am getting the blonde taken out and I am going to get darker red highlights put in it for the winter time. BTW: My natural color is like a dark carrot red.
I'm on the right.

I have had the long bangs to the side for a while now, actually most of the time not by choice, they just keep growing out. I perfer slightly shorter to the side ones rather than longer....the longer the bang the flatter my bangs go. I hate that. Dont get me wrong, I love having side bangs but I will say that yes, they are hard to maintain. I find that if I dont put a certain product or enough of a product they will just not have a good day lol. Its not that I have bad hair days anymore its that I have bad bang days lol. Good luck though, dont worry, they will grow out and plus, if they get annoying, you can always put them back. Back comb it just a tiny bit or a make a poof and clip back with two bobby pins. Its the oc look!

Yucky? Yah, right! (silly you, don't even know how purty you and your hair are right now).
Wow, so much color processing... looks good now, would look good with your natural color, too...
I recommend a side part, now! Try it, see how you like it. Bang if you must... (a thin layer).

I think your hair is lovely as it is now, but I can understand if you want something different. I had long hair for ages and when I wanted a new style, I cut a fringe. Nicole Richie hade a great fringe efter her haircut (still has?), maybe you could find a picture? She looked gorgeous in it anyway. Fringes suit most people. And if they get annoying, you can always comb them back, just like Hairprincess wrote. Good luck!

I am not sure when they cease to be bangs and are merely face framing strands, but I like the look that has them from mid cheek to lip or so. I don't like the right in the eye look either, and I think it looks odd if your hair is longer than shoulder length. If you have long hair you should have several gradual layers or you will have Jennifer's look, imho.
