Hi. I'm 14 year old guy and have no idea how to style my hair.
Of course, I'm asian, and I have bangs that reach past my eyes. I'm
thinking of having a haircut, and decided on a certain style. I dunno
if this is a good style for me, but I certainly like it. Can anybody
recommend, or actually, tell me what the hairstyle is called, what the
haircut is called, what gel/mousse/whatever is best for this, and how
to do it (actual steps, not quick blurbs)? I know that's a lot, but
thanks.
Here are the pics:
Thanks for answering (I hope)!

Well, I'm a girl and don't really use any hairstyling products so I
can't help too much. But it looks like you might have to train your
hair at the top of your head to lay facing forward like in the pics. My
best guess would be to brush/comb that hair forward, then put on a
baseball hat or some other close-fitting hat, and then leave it on for
a few hours each day until your hair starts to do it on its own. After
that, I'm not sure.
Sorry that I can't help you a whole lot. If you do get that hair cut,
you should ask the person who's cutting your hair how to make that
style and what products you'll need. Good luck!

I actually disagree with juri on the training your hair to lie flat on
your head. I've always wanted my hair to lie flat on my head, and I've
tried wearing hats and beannies in an inane attempt. After you shower,
you hair will be right back up again.
Just buy some decent gel and when you get out of the shower, towel dry
your hair but don't dry it completely (you might have to experiment
with this a few times before you get it). Now, grab some gel and rub it
in your hand. Start from the back of your head and just rub it in and
style so that your hair looks like the picture above. Finally, grab a
bit more gel and rub it in your fingertips. Now, push your front hair
up and style it. Hmmm, I hope that helps you.
