I don't know if this was on a previous thread or not, but have any of you ever used the Caruso steam rollers and if so, how did it work for you. I just purchased one today, so hopefully it will come out really nice since i'm in transition and don't want to put direct heat on my hair, but would like nice curls.
I saw some pics of a young lady on one of the Fotki's and she used it and her hair was beautiful and shiney. She said that it was much better to rollerset her hair with the caruso than with regular rollers and direct heat. She said she had amazing results and her hair looked fabulous.
I don't have any experience with these but have used traditional hot rollers in the past and also roller set / dry under a hair dryer regularly. I am curious to know how effective the the steam rollers are. Please post again after you have received and used yours.

this is a silly question, but i've been dying to ask: can people with natural hair use these rollers? ive seen them yield great results, but only on girls rocking relaxers or texturizers. thanks

I think the young lady that used it on Fotki has natural hair. She let let her hair airdry, and then she said she uses NTM silk leave-in and rolls her hair with end papers on the ends of her hair so her hair doesn't frizz.

Well ladies, I tried it and it works wonderfully! You have to really follow the instructions though. Once you get the hang of it, its really a pleasure.
I found that the steam made my hair really, really soft and the curls were well defined. Because of the weather, the curls didn't stay in to long because my hair is really soft. But, I know that on nice sunny days, I'm going to have beautiful hair days!!!
Hope whoever tries it, like it as much as I did this weekend.

No, canopy....i don't have pics yet. I have to get a digital camera. I purchased them from Sally's and the cost was $29.99 and I had a $3.00 coupon off so I paid less.
If you buy them, you have 90 days to return the product back to Sally's. Make sure you ask them on their return policy, ok?
