We did heat until it crackled a bit, then rolled them so I don't think that was it.

I'm going to have them installed again tomorrow with the adhesive shrinkies from shrinkies.net. Blah another couple hours spent on the quest for "bitchin hair". :P

Stay tuned....I'll post pics when I'm done too.

Thanks for the feedback :)

I thought the same as metal girl, I have the shrinkies with the adhesive lining and didn't want the keratin glue in my hair from the LUSH hair, so I just coated the tips with just nail glue, NO liquid gold, i'll let ya know how that goes.

The black shrinkies with adhesive in stay in the best for me  The residue comes out easy after if your worried about that, i just use an oily substance, Amm sells good stuff for it too.

I used adhesive lined shrinkies with LUSH hair and have had no slipping at all.  I would think adding more glue would be overkill...

I think that for any shrinkie to stay in the hair well, they need to have the adhesive lining.  I wouldn't waste my time or money on any shrink tube that didn't have the adhesive lining.

The microlites might be different. But did you heat up the shrinks until you heard a sizzle? And did you roll them after til they felt rock hard?

if not that might be the reason why they didnt hold.I could be wrong though since I've never tried the microlites.

Ok results from my install with the LUSH tips with the micro lite shrinkies (w/ no adhesive lining). They all slipped out after 1 week. Has anyone else had this problem? I thought the keratin bond on the LUSH tip would melt under the shrinkie but I don't think it was enough to hold them.

Has anyone gone over the LUSH tips with some liquid gold and then used the adhesive shrinkes? Is it better to just use the adhesive shrinkies with the LUSH tip alone?

Thoughts?
