sides wont wave

brush more on the sides.  its natural to want to brush the top the most, and then if you have time, do the sides.

also, the hair on your side could be a diffrent texture. so you might have to brush 3 times more on the side then on the top. its just crazy. and don't forget behind the ears. an while you brush, try to make sure you keep a good pattern, or one they start really comin' in deep, they'll look sloppy

try doing wat chillin said put an extra 10 mins in ya brush but use da 10 mins only for ya sides. Grow ya hair out for lik 4-6weeks, if u want to neaten up ya hair while growing it out get a trim from ya barber, not a cut, a trim. Also when growing ya hairout comb ya hair da way u brush for lik 5mins den after da 5mins of combing, comb ya waves backwards, dont worry about it da waves dey will com in better, i tryed it, yeah lik i said comb ya hair backwards once, a day when it is long, den after u comb it bakward, comb it da way u brush for lik 2mins, den brush ya hair and den tie it up

also try put water in ya hair, and brush it dry wit a soft brush, never a hard or med brush unless those ya only brushes u have at da time ,den tie ya head up .
