Hi all.....I know there is not a cream that will reverse aging, but I'm curious as to what .creams and treatments you are using to soften the look or to slow the signs of aging.

I stick to a really good moisturizer and I also have found good results with Avon's Anew Clinical Deep Crease Concentrate. It's soothing (the Anew Clinical cream stung my skin) and it appears to soften the look of fine lines around my eyes.

What do you use?

I make my own under-eye lotion (in the hopes that keeping that area moisturized now will prevent wrinkles from coming before I get them...hoping....  My basis for that is that everyone in my family has very oily skin and they don't wrinkle till they're over 60 usually).  I mix shea butter with grapeseed oil and a little tea tree oil and add one drop of essential oil to make it smell nice.

vinigar is great for combating fine lines because it works like alpha hydroxis do but they are more gentle.  Avacado oil is also great to help promote skin elasticity and firmness preventing wrinkles but it is very rich.  I make a moisturizer with avacado oil and other oils great for ageing skin and toner with viniger because it will not remove strip your skin of the necessary oils like alcahol

Sounds interesting. What other oils do you use in the formula?

I am still prone to an occasional break-out, so I'm afraid to use something that's oil-based. But, I hear you on the issue with alcohol-based products. I'm 30 and at that "in-between" phase with my skin. I've noticed some changes to my skin, but I still have those acne prone areas from adolescence.

I use light oils other than the avacado.  Almond which has vitamine e and absorbs quickly, callendula infused sunflower oil that is an antibacterial for acne, jojoba which is the closest match to the wax that your skin produces(you need the protective wax coating), comfrey infused grapeseed oil promotes skin cell regeneration if you do get blemishes, carrot seed oil to restore youthfullness, and vitamine E oil.  I use essential oils that also kill bacteria and other great things.  what I like aobut using the oils is that you only need a very small amout and it spreads everywhere especially if your skin is wet from a toner for instance.  you can also just apply it to small areas.  It will absorb wery quickly into the skin too.

I notice the more tired, or dehaydrated I am, then my skin looks a bit rough,... But for age 35, most people think I'm 27 to 30, I'll take that!!;)

I do try to drink lots of agua(water!). Also, I have always used a high SPF (30 to 50) mousteriser. Especially when I was in Mexico. I tend to burn easily. I'm a natural Redhead,...

I love Oil of olay Spf 15, or Spf 30 mousteriser! It's all I use, no foundation, or blush, just olay, mascara, lipfinity(which works great) and I'm set,....

God Bless,...
Katie
